Cath Lab
Cardiac Catherization Lab
Our Cardiac Cath Lab allow us to access heart and blood vessels using minimally invasive tests and advanced cardiac procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. In cardiac catheterization, a tiny tube called a catheter, can be use instead of surgery, to access the heart and blood vessels by inserting the catheter in the groin or arm and directed to the heart. A cath lab has special imaging equipment used to see the arteries and check how well blood is flowing to and from the heart. This information helps the care team to diagnose and treat blockages and other problems in the arteries. Treatments that once required open-heart surgery can be done with small incisions during an outpatient or short-term hospital visit. This means patients experience less pain and recover much more quickly.
