Meadowview Regional Medical Center Offers Paid Internship Program for Local College Students

January 14, 2026

Maysville, KY (January 13, 2026) - Meadowview Regional Medical Center offers a paid internship program for college students in the Buffalo Trace region and boarding Ohio Counties who are pursuing careers in the medical and healthcare fields.  The program started in 2024 and has doubled in size with the anticipation of growing this year.

The program provides students with hands-on experience in a hospital setting while allowing them to earn income and gain practical skills alongside experienced healthcare professionals. The internship gives students opportunities to experience various departments, depending on students’ areas of study.

“Our goal is to support local students while building the future healthcare workforce for our region,” said Kathy Vancampen, CEO and Market President at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.

The program is open to students enrolled in medical, nursing, allied health, or other healthcare-related college programs. Applications will open in March.
