Meadowview Regional Medical Center Acquires Family Medicine Associates; Dr. Michael Boyd Joins Flemingsburg Medical Clinic

Meadowview Regional Medical Center (MRMC) is proud to announce that Family Medicine Associates will join the Meadowview Regional Medical Group. As part of this acquisition, Dr. Michael Boyd will join the Flemingsburg Medical Clinic team. This partnership reflects Meadowview’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care close to home.

Founded in 1989, Family Medicine Associates has built a distinguished reputation for delivering family, pediatric, and internal medicine services. As part of the transition, patients can expect continuity of care with their trusted providers and staff.

Effective Monday, April 20, 2026, Flemingsburg Medical Clinic will relocate to the current Family Medicine Associates office at 935 Elizaville Avenue, Flemingsburg.

The primary clinic phone number will change to 606.849.3374. While the previous number (606.849.2323) will automatically forward to the new line during the transition period, patients are encouraged to update their records with the new 3374 number immediately.

Patients do not need to take any action as a result of this transition; appointments and care teams remain unchanged. Over time, patients will benefit from enhanced care coordination, expanded services, and improved access to hospital-based resources.
